A second report claims Apple may debut a true all-screen iPhone in 2027.

Several sources told The Information that at least one new 2027 iPhone model will sport an edge-to-edge display. The front camera and Face ID are believed to be embedded under the display.

Apple is believed to equip upcoming iPhone 18 Pro models with an under-display Face ID, paving the way for an all-screen design. The front camera will be housed in a pinhole on the display.

However, an introduction of under-display Face ID on the iPhone 18 Pro contradicts a different claim from Digital Chat Station that the feature will debut on a foldable iPad in 2028.

Bloomberg reported last month that "a major shake-up" for the iPhone is tipped for 2027 with the rumoured debut of a foldable model and a "bold new Pro model." The Pro model is said to use more glass materials to achieve a design that looks like a single sheet of glass.
