Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has just revealed that the world's most popular social networking and micro-blogging service has over 100 million registered users, and over 300,000 new users are registering each day. He also revealed that more than 75% of traffic comes outside of Twitter.com, showing just how important outside developers and Twitter client apps are.
Techcrunch - Twitter’s Biz Stone just reeled off some key, and very long awaited stats at Chirp. The stats:
1. Twitter has 105,779,710 registered users.
2. It gets 300,000 new users a day.
3. It receives 180 Million Unique visitors a month.
4. And 75% of traffic comes from outside of Twitter.com
