Samsung unveils the entry-level Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 in China

Two new entry-level smartphones, the Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7, are listed on the Samsung China's website. Read on to find out more!

Samsung is introducing another new product range, the Galaxy On and the first two devices are set to be available in China.

The two phones, known as the Galaxy On7 and Galaxy On5, are positioned as entry-level devices with attractive price tags. While Samsung China did not list the product page of the GalaxyOn 5, there is one for the Galaxy On7 which reveals its specs:

  • 5.5-inch 720p display
  • Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
  • Exynos 3475 quad-core 1.2GHz processor
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 8GB internal storage space with microSD expansion up to 128GB
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • 3,000mAh battery
  • 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm
  • 172g

The Korean company also provided the amount of memory space taken up by the preloaded apps on the Galaxy ON phones, which is a result of the lawsuit filed by the Shanghai Consumer Rights Protection Commission in July 2015. It also promised that consumers can remove some of these apps in recent phone models.
