Samsung just announced the world's first 5G tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 5G.

The Galaxy Tab S6 5G is not a secret; it was listed as one of the tablets on promotion in Korea last month and Samsung confirmed its existence in a press release earlier this month.

Aside from 5G connectivity, it has the same specs as the five-month old Galaxy Tab S6. As a quick recap, the Galaxy Tab S6 comes with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display, an on-screen optical fingerprint sensor, a 7,040mAh battery and quad speakers. As found from our review of the current WiFi and LTE versions, it's quite a competent tablet and while a bit pricey, it still offers reasonably good value for certain tasks.

Official specs are not revealed at the time of publication, but SlashGear expects it to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The retail price of the Galaxy Tab S6 5G is 999,900 KRW (~S$1,154). It is currently only available in South Korea and there is no word on its global availability.
