A device which extends the functionality and UI of smartphones, the LightPad offers users with expanded utility via a built-in 11-inch high contrast rear projection screen, up to 60-inch screen in front projection mode, and a full-size keyboard.

Providing users with almost all the functions a notebook would be equipped with is made possible with the use of a pico-projector, which is not only power efficient but lightweight.

QP Optoelectronics has partnered with Texas Instruments to make the LightPad possible. It will be showcased from Jan 10-13, at booth #37037, South Hall, Upper Level, CES 2012 Exhibition, Las Vegas.
