OnePlus' next smartwatch might adopt a key feature of Apple Watches.

SmartPrix claimed the OnePlus Watch 3 will come with a rotary dial, resembling the Digital Crown of the Apple Watch. The rotary dial on the OnePlus Watch 3 is stated to offer a "more intuitive way to navigate the UI" and has "a tactile experience that complements the touchscreen.

The Digital Crown is used on the Apple Watch for several functions, such as scrolling through lists, zooming into things, accessing the app home screen, and bringing you back to the watch face.

The OnePlus Watch 3 may also have an upgraded suite of heart rate sensors, including ECG support. However, depending on domestic regulations, ECG availability could be limited to selected markets.

Other rumoured specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space, Watch OS 5 + RTOS, and a 500mAh battery. The OnePlus Watch 3 could also support LTE connectivity.
