We were lucky enough to be able to attend the launch of Samsung's new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo in Bangkok recently. Packed with AI features, it can wash and dry up to 25kg and 15kg of laundry respectively.

Daren Tay, VP & Regional Head of Digital Appliances for Southeast Asia & Oceania, Samsung Electronics, gave the welcome address to the attendees. But as part of Samsung's Smart Things Bespoke series, it won't be cheap, priced at S$5,499 for the largest model.

The first demo station highlighted the benefits of the new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, how it could handle washing loads up to 32 times in a row (see page 5), and the Bixby voice control.

The second demo station was "Savings and Performance". Here you can see how much space is saved by combining the washing machine and dryer into a single device rather then having it side by side or placed on top of each other.

Connected Living was the final demo station. Here we got to see how Samsung's Smart Things Ecosystem worked together to make our lives easier. You can find out more in these TikTok videos here.

The LCD on the new Bespoke AI Laundry Combo can show a lot of information. This makes it easier to track things like energy usage, so you'll know if you're washing your clothes in the most efficient way possible.

One problem with the LCD is the amount of fingerprints that it can pick up, something I'd never thought I'd have to worry about on a washing machine.
