The CrunchPad would have been a low cost internet surfing solution that would have delivered a great experience for an affordable price in the form of a sleek looking tablet. With its software to be developed by a Singapore firm Fusion Garage, the tablet was purported to be ready in time for launch in November. Well, it's November and we've yet to see anything regarding this device. Vaporware time? Possibly.

Are higher-than-expected costs to blame?
One story we heard from a few people on a recent trip to California is that the CrunchPad is supposedly being delayed -- perhaps indefinitely -- by increasing expenses.
